Paragon Wheatcroft
In the mid 1950’s and early 1960’s a number of the potteries, Paragon being the most well-known, produced a series featuring roses which were developed by the famous English rose grower Harry Wheatcroft. This trio features a rich red rose named ‘Grand Gala’. The cup has a solid gilded foot and the entire inside of the cup is washed in pale pink. One trio is available with the ‘Grand Gala’ rose.
One Paragon trio is available for hire in this rose pattern. An entire set of six Paragon trios featuring all six Harry Wheatcroft roses is also available for hire together with a cake plate, sugar bowl and milk jug. Two similar trios by Roslyn are also available for hire featuring the ‘Virgo’ rose and the ‘Rendezvous’ rose.
